2025 Summer Horseman’s Experience
Foster Road Ranch is excited to announce a change in our Summer Riding Camp program. We are moving to a more comprehensive riding, hands on and classroom education with industry professionals that we are calling The Horseman’s Experience!
The Horseman’s Experience is a private offering and only available to the following groups: Current lesson riders, boarders, Foster Road Ranch Riding members (info on this coming SOON), Foster Road 4-H Club members and Foster Road riding members from our former Plano program. We will also consider active riders in our community who want to bring their horse and experience Foster Road.
We offer stalls for rent if you bring your own horse as well! Coggins and UTD medical required.
Why the change from camps to this new format? We have truly enjoyed hosting camps for our community the last two Summers! We love the excitement that comes with introducing people to riding! That said, we learn something new each year and 2024 taught us that our program and horses are better suited to focusing on riders who are committing to the sport of riding.
We will continue to introduce riding to new riders through our lesson program which, we believe, is the right way to learn to ride. If you’re new to riding and were looking forward to camps this year, we encourage you to join our lesson program so you can be ready to take advantage of all we have to offer in this new level of Summer education!!

- Futures is for our horsemen who both walk and trot independently in any of our indoor/outdoor venues as well as are able to focus on deeper horsemen topics.
- We are still working on opportunities for this experience as each session will be unique based on the pros we bring in, but some of the things we are already working on include: Equine Dentistry, Farrier, Routine Care, Roping, Ask the Judge, Vitals and First Aid, Flag Cutting and more!
